This project is about social change as it relates to gun violence. I created this project to get people thinking about what has happened and what could keep happening to our children if we as a collective stay on the same path. Let’s create change.

Apophany is a pop-up that welcomes the speculation of creativity. Creativity is subjective and it is difficult to find a definitive answer to exactly what it entails, but at its core it is all about making connections. Throughout our research, we have been inspired by the different stages of the creative process and the concept of unlearning. We hope to spark curiosity, break down self-imposed barriers, and get a little weird.

Never Grow Up! was a interactive pop-up experience. The goal was to encourage adults to play and to remind them that you don’t have to grow up. I created posters, a website, an Instagram, take-away booklets, an App, and buttons. Play was encouraged by providing a surface to collaboratively draw on and instructions on how to turn the posters offered into crowns or paper airplanes.
